FLO IS A FLEMINGTON STAR!

Florescent Star raced by the all female Dream Girls syndicate, was a tough winner at Flemington on Saturday in the Fiona McIntyre BM78 Sprint for Fillies & Mares over 1100m

Ridden By Dean Holland, she sat in behind the early leader and peeled out to make her run at the 300m and after a tough battle to take the lead, she held off all the challenges in the last 100m to prevail by 0.3 of a length.

Flo has been a model of consistency in her 11 career starts and was unlucky at her previous run at Moonee Valley going into this race, and looked to be a leading chance.

She proved that even giving her rivals weight, she is a mare that shows huge potential, and was too good for her rivals.

She will again look to knock off another city race next before looking towards some stakes races further into her prep.

The Dream Girls have an exciting mare on their hands, and lots more fun ahead.
