Unanimous Spoils The Party!

Unanimous stormed back to form from last to first at Warrnambool today.

Up to 1400m for the first time in his career, Unanimous showed his true potential with a barnstorming win, and knocking off the well backed favourite to spoil the party!

After some flashing light runs this prep without any success, Unanimous was extended out to 1400m to see if that would make the difference.

It certainly made a big difference and his last 400m was the second fastest of the day, and his last 200m was the fastest of the day when he made a big dive at the leaders in the shadows of the post

Ridden by John Allen, he settled near last but travelled into the race well and swung the widest of the field about 10 deep before launching a well timed run to win.

Unanimous goes to Sandown next over 1500m and we hope to build up his winning record as a miler now.
