Too Strong

Desert Dreamer proved himself too strong for the BM64 field at Donald today.

Dreamer did start favourite on the day, and he was tipped as the best bet o犀利士 n the program from most tipsters, but from the outside barrier he was posted 3 wide for most of the trip, so he needed to show his class to win.

Young Josh Richards didn’t panic and allowed him to travel wide but in a good rhythm and within striking distance of the leaders.

He made a long run from the 500m point to hit the lead on straightened and was too strong for his rivals in the run to the post to win by a length.

A well deserved win after a flashing light run first up at Hamilton, which notched up his 4th win from his 14 starts, and earning him a crack at a midweek race in town next.
