I Am Immortal

Swettenham becomes Immortal

Swettenham Stud in Ngambie Victoria confirmed their interest in standing I Am Immortal at stud this season in 2020, by securing his stallion rights this week.

Swettenham Stud with a long history of over 60 years of standing stalions, had the son of I Am Invincible on their radar from the day he won the Blue Diamond Prelude in February 2019.

That win confirmed him as the only dual stakes winning 2yo son of I Am Invincible to stand at stud, which provides a huge boost to the Victorian Breeding Industry.

I Am Immortal will inject speed and strength into his progeny which makes him an ideal option for breeders looking to take advantage of the VOBIS bonuses offered for 2yo & 3yo races within Victoria.

I Am Immortal will continue racing in the Dream colours for the rest of the Autumn until he is retired in late April, and allowed to let down before the breeding season starts in September 2020.

This is exciting news for Dream Thoroughbreds as we embark into the new realm of breeding with an exciting colt that we have raced succesfully, with Anthony Freedman Racing.

Little Morty yearlings will be at the yearling sales in 2023, and following each foal through their careers will be another exciting chapter to the Dream story!
