Splitter scores Metro Win!

Splitter scored her first Metropolitan grade win at the Toowoomba Cup Day meeting, a stand alone Metro meeting in Queensland this weekend.

Taking on a BM75 at Fillies & Mares grade, Splitter settled in a perfect position a couple of lengths off the speed, with young apprentice Baylee Nothdruft riding.

Baylee was calm in the saddle and never panicked when the push and shove came on at the top of the straight and Baylee pushed Splitter into the clean air, to make her run.

As she picked up her ground and started to accelerate Baylee didn’t panic and worked with her to overhaul the leader in the shadows of the post, to secure her first Metro win, and her 5th career win.
