PUP TURNS IT AROUND!

Puppeteer turned around modest formlines to win his maiden strongly at Wodonga today!

He was second up from his long spell, and rock hard fit for his assignment with the blinkers on again and up to 1590m.

Ridden by up and coming Irish jockey Robbie Downey, he was taken to the lead from the jump in an attempt to switch him on and control the race.

But his challengers took him on mid race which made his task harder. He was headed at the top of the straight as the field turned for home, but rallied back under strong riding to win strongly.

Certainly a welcome changed to see him fight it out, and run strongly through the line as opposed to his previous runs.

The son of Foxwedge, just might be enjoying the rise in distances now, which aligns with his pedigree page and strong physique.

The Pup just may have turned it all around for the Dreamers!
