Columbia returned from a long spell where he left off, with a barnstorming finish to win first up at Morphettville. Ridden by Todd Pannell again who has built a strong affinity with Columbia, he timed his run perfectly to win in the last stride, after looking like he was just going to run into the placings. He lifted like a good horses does, and stretch his neck out to win, and show he is one of the most progressive sprinters in Adelaide at the moment. He has now strung 4 wins from 8 starts since moving to new trainer Will Clarken in Adelaide, and there is still more to come!
