Unanimous takes HQ!

Unanimous secured another metro win at Flemington today, in the BM78 over 1630m, on a heavy 10 rated surface.

After a flashing home in the short straight last start at Moonee Valley, Unanimous was targeted towards this race down the long Flemington straight, searching for a breakthrough win this prep.

From barrier 1 Ben Melham had Unanimous right in behind the speed through the run, and his pre race tactic of sticking hard up against the fence in the straight, was a winning decision when he shot away to a winning lead and held off all the challengers down the long straight.

It was a well deserved victory for the 5yo son of Deep Field, who promises so much and continues to work through the grades in exciting style.
