Sandown

Unanimous Launches on Debut

Unanimous made an exciting debut today at Sandown winning the Ladbrokes Back Yourself Handicap over 1000m,

The son of Deep Field had no favours in the run, sitting 4 wide in the run, with no cover, coming down the dip, he looked to be just going until Jye McNeil started to ask him for a bigger effort and once he balanced up, he started to knuckle down and showed an exciting turn of foot, to win running away.

Ciaron Maher was very encouraged by the win, and quickly set him for the listed St Albans Stakes on William Reid night at Moonee Valley.

A passionate and vocal group of owners were on track to watch Unanimous win, and it’s going to be a fun ownership experience going forward.
