Ocean stamps her potential!

Ocean Dew confirmed herself as a filly with staying piotential with a strong and determined win in Your Everyday Gourmet 3yo Maiden Plate at Wangaratta yesterday.

Stepping up to 1400m for the first time, up against 3yo colts and geldings, the filly by Ocean Park really had her work cut out to reverse her disappointing efforst last start in a Heavy track at Cranbourne.

But with the addition of a change of riding tactics, and in form hoop Damien Thornton aboard, she proved that she really does have the potential to stamp herself in the Autumn Carnival in the 3yo fillies staying ranks.

Out of the Group 2 2000m winning mare Due Diligence, this daughter of Ocean Park definitely has the pedigree on her side to take it to a new level.

She will be put away now with the SA Australasian Oaks in mind next May!

Already looking forward to that!!
