ROMEO BOOKS MAGIC MILLIONS TRIP

Russian Romeo booked himself on a trip up to the Gold Coast with his win today in the Daish Irrigation & Fodder BM64 Handicap at Murray Bridge.

But once he settled into his ryhthm, he always had the field in his sights, and he easily put paid to them once he lengthened stride in the straight on his favourite surface.

His form at Murray Bridge has been outstanding but with the low prizemoney options available for him in Adelaide, a crack at the lucrative restricted Magic Millions 3 & 4yo Class 4 featured at the Gold Coast circuit on the 4 January over 1300m, a newly created race which suits the Russian.

This race really falls into his wheel house, and he will be given every chance to win it by his new trainer Will Clarken, who has done a tremendous job in turning around his fortunes since arriving in Adelaide.
