OM Cranbourne

2 from 2

Open Minded made it 2 wins from 2 career starts with a determined win in the Asphalt & Paving Class 1 Handicap at Cranbourne tonight over 1300m.

Taking up the lead again, as he did first up, he trave犀利士 lled sweetly until entering the straight when he was quickly challenged and looked for a stride to be in trouble.

But on balancing up, he gave a strong kick and rallied back along to rails to hold off all the challengers down the straight to notch a a strong dogged win.

He showed that he has the potential to win better class races with his effort, not easy to do winning second up after a lowly maiden win.

After arriving in Australia only 8 weeks ago, he has taken big strides to establihs himself as a horse with serious upside that can make some progress during the late Autumn and Winter.

Another strong ride by Damien Thornton, and establishing a good combination with this son of Jimmy Choux.

Watch for him next prep!!
