Fanjura back to form in the Group 2 Blamey Stakes

Dream Stable star Fanjura opened up his Autumn racing campaign with a determined 3rd in the Group 2 Blamey Stakes behind superstar Whobegotyou.

Our jockey Craig Williams was excited about the return to form of Fanjura, and acknowledged a great training performance by our trainer Lee Freedman.

Lee stated " Craig rode him to my exact instructions, and the horse showed he had improved since his Spring campaign. We will take him to the Albury Cup on the 25 March 2011, on his way to Sydney!"

A group of loyal syndicate members were in attendance, and very excited to accept the juicy $5.90 place dividend on offer.

It was a great day at Flemington, with the added advantage of watching the superstar Black Caviar win her 10th race start without defeat!

He will be competitve in anything he runs in from now on!!

Living the Dream!

Members Drinks @ Curve Bar

A very big thank you to Michael Burke for his hospitality last friday nite at the Dream Thoroughbreds Members Nite @ Curve Bar.

Michael was very generous in shouting our Dream members and friends numerous rounds of drinks thoroughout the night. A great venue, in a lively area around the Arts Centre, between 15-20 members enjoyed a couple of hours of networking, socialising, and lots of shared Dreams!

It was definitely a successful initiative, and we will follow up with more Members Networking Drinks throughout the coming year.

Dream Thoroughbreds Official Launch Day was a huge success

Dream Thoroughbreds officially launched their brand on Sunday 6th February 2011 @ the Freedman Stables Markdel.

Over 120 people including members, their family and friends enjoyed a sunny day at 'Markdel'.

Everyone in attendance enjoyed viewing the Freedman training facilities, our new racing silks, chatted freely with Lee Freedman our head trainer, watched a parade of our horses followed by a BBQ lunch and drinks.

Sam Pritchard-Gordon took a large group of members and friends out onto the Freedman private training track, and explained the concepts of training horses.

We thank everybody for their attendance, and especially thankful to everyone involved in putting together this fabulous event.
