Mr Sneaky storms home!

Mr Sneaky created an exciting finish to Guineas Day at Flemington today with a barnstorming finish to win the Saintly Handicap over 1400m.

Coming off a 5 week freshen up Mr Sneaky was primed for his run on Saturday with a jump out at Flemington a week earlier!

He jumped from the outside barrier and was snagged back to the rear by new jockey Craig Williams.

Then taking a 3 wide trail Craig had Mr Sneaky ready to make his run entering the straight. The horses ahead took him into the race in the early part of the straight but then he peeled out 4 wide at the 300m to make his challenge. He progressively was making ground down the straight but still 2 lengths abreast at the 100m mark it looked like he would fall short, but over the last 50m Craig Williams lifted him and he lunged to win in the last stride.

Fantastic placement by Lee Freedman to set him for this race a few weeks ago, and with the guile of Craig Williams, we now have a winner at Flemington!

A huge group of Dreamers were on track Dream Screaming the Flemington Mounting Yard down, and it was the loudest group of owners the VRC committee has heard in the winners room all day!

A fantastic result for our owners and the Dream team, and we celebrated long and hard into the night!

The Sneaky one has alot more ahead of him, and we are looking forward to the ride ahead!
