Mr Sneaky dominates on debut

Mr Sneaky won the Allianz Insurance 2yo Maiden Plate over 1100m yesterday on the Geelong Synthetic track, displaying impressive speed and accerelation.

Mr Sneaky is a striking brown son of the champion sire High Chaparral, out of the multiple stakes placed Danehill mare Danesty.

Ridden by Daniel Moor, Mr Sneaky was sent out positive from the start, and rushed to the lead before the first turn. He steadied and relaxed once he cleared the field, and was given a mid race breather before turning for home, he lengthened stride and the others were quickly struggling to make any significant ground, he raced a couple of lengths clear to win the race by 2.5 lengths under his own steam, and to the cheers and roars of the Dream Team watching!

It was an impressive display from a horse that typically would need longer distances to show his best, but Mr Sneaky is a strong athletic type that really has a bull like frame.

His progress now will be keenly watched by many, as his catchy name seems to have everyone very interested in him!
