OH NO, he has missed the start!!

But alas that was all part of the plan!!

Fruehling, our newest UK imported horse, ran and won at his first Australian start on Wesdnesday at Sandown in the $18K Perri Cutten maiden plate over 1600m.

Ridden by stable jockey Daniel Moor, Fruehling was slow to begin and jumped out 2 lengths behind the rest of the field, but Daniel quickly got him moving, and pushed up along the rails to settled 6th on the rails, 3-4 lengths of the leaders. He travelled nicely over the next 800m, and it was only a concern whether he would get out of the rails. But at the 400m point, arounding the turn, Daniel made an intelligent move to peel off the leaders backs 3 wide, and give Fruehling the opening and room he needed to show everyone his turn of foot, and long striding action, that a few of us had the privilege to view at the trials recently. At the 200m mark, Fruehling let down and shot through along the rails to open up a gap of a length on the field, and ran strongly through the line to win comfortably.

Fruehling is bred to be a handy stayer, and the way he finished off the race on Wednesday, shows that when he gets to the distances over 2000m and beyond, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Dream Thoroughbreds took a major share in this UK import last spring, after studying his UK runs on video, and assessing his bloodlines. An important aspect of our syndications, is to provide a variety of options for all members, and we continue to look and find the next big thing, and LIVE the DREAM!

Dream Thoroughbreds is now 4 from 4, thats a 100% strike rate of winners to runners! No other syndication company can atest to that record!

We are very proud of that record, and we will continue to buy and race quality thoroughbreds with the Freedman Stable.

There are a number of first time owners that joined us in the ownership of Fruehling, and we look forward to many more new owners joining us for the ride!
