Due Date won the Hogan Painting & Decorating Maiden at Newscastle today over 1500m.

Due Date ridden by Chad Lever, jumped well and sat outside the leader for the first half of the race.

Approaching the turn, Chad gave Due Date a niggle to keep his mind on the job, and ranged up outside the leader turning for home, shortly after he was challeneged on his outside and looked to have been headed, but he dug in for a fight, and fought out the race strongly over the last 200m to stick his head out and win.

Due Date still looks capable of stepping up further in distance, and he looks like developing into a nice middle distance runner for the Dream Stable.

This was the first winner for our partnership with Bjorn Baker Racing, and we are sure there are plenty more winners in store for the partnership.
